COOKIES POLICY
Directive 2002/58 ePrivacy Directive
EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation
The website www.danjohnjo.com uses"cookies": these are text files that are sent from a web server (ie, the computer where the visited website is "hosted") to the User's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome , etc.) and stored in the device, fixed or mobile, used for the User's navigation. The cookie allows the Site to identify the User's device, through the information stored in it, whenever the User reconnects to the Site through that device.
Through the use of cookies, it is possible to make it easier for Users to navigate within the Site, as well as - subject to the collection of suitable consent - to analyze their preferences and tastes through navigation verification and consequently offer a promotion of products and services more consistent with respect to the interests and expectations of the User himself.
The data controllers of the personal data collected through the cookies on the Site, each within the limits of the processing actually carried out, are the following:
Dan John Jordan., with registered office in Abdali Mall, Amman, Jordan, 11953, E-mail i nfo@danjohnjo.com .
Cookies do not collect directly identifying information about the User. The Companies cannot through cookies trace any directly identifying personal information (eg, first name, last name) unless provided directly by the User.
Cookies are not all the same and are distinguished according to:
to the duration: cookies can be " session " (when they are stored only for the time of the duration of the browsing session on the Site and are deleted when the browser is closed), or "permanent" (they are stored for a longer time, until they expire or until they are deleted by the User);
to the party installing them on the User's terminal (cookies can be installed by the site operator, or by a third party); and
to their purpose.
Technical cookies
These are the cookies used in order to ensure the navigation and therefore the telematic transmission of data on the network or strictly necessary for the provision of services provided by the Site. These cookies are usually temporary, so-called "session cookies", and are issued by the Site on the User's computer during navigation, but are stored only for the duration of the navigation session itself. This means that when the User closes his/her browser the cookies are automatically deleted and disappear, without remaining stored on the computer. They are made up of random numbers generated by the server and serve to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the Site.
Through the use of such cookies we can facilitate the User's navigation within the Site, for example by remembering the data provided by the User when filling in forms on the Site (so-called user input cookies), to recognize the User after he/she logs in to the Site (so-called authentication cookies), to customize the Site interface based on the preferences indicated by the User, to collect in aggregate form information regarding the number of visitors to the Site and on the most visited pages (so-called analytics cookies used with partial IP obscuration mechanisms), etc.
These cookies do not require the acquisition of the User's prior and express consent as they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the User of the Site.
Analytics cookies
These are cookies used for statistical analysis related to the use of the Site and to monitor its proper functioning. Where they are used by adopting partial IP obfuscation mechanisms they are assimilated to technical cookies; otherwise, the use of such cookies requires the express and informed consent of the User.
The system used is Google Analytics, which is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics, like the other systems, uses cookies to enable the website to analyze how Users use the Site.
Profiling cookies
These are the cookies aimed at creating profiles relating to the User for example in order to send advertising messages consistent with the User's preferences: except as provided in paragraph 3 below, these cookies are issued by the Site on the User's computer during navigation and are also stored beyond the duration of the navigation session itself, until they expire or until they are deleted by the User (so-called "permanent cookies"). These cookies also allow us to offer you our commercial proposal on other affiliated websites (so-called retargeting). This category also includes social network cookies, which allow the User's social accounts to interact with the Site (eg, by sharing content with other people or disclosing your opinion about content).
The use of such cookies requires the express and informed consent of the User.
Tracking Pixels
The Site also uses tracking pixels (also known as "1x1 pixels" or "pixel tags"), graphical elements of the size of 1x1 pixels, which are installed when a User visits the Site or opens one of the emails sent by Rinah.
Each time the User visits the Site, the tracking pixel transmits limited information, including the User's IP address, to the relevant server. This tool is used for statistical purposes only, so the Companies do not have access to any information about individual Users. The information collected through the tracking pixels is intended to perform statistical analysis related to. ( i ) The number of Users who use the Site, ( ii ) the number and type of pages visited, as well as ( iii ) the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
The deactivation of cookies does not result in the automatic blocking of information transmitted via tracking pixels, however, the User can prevent the sending of such information through the settings of their browser, by changing the settings of their firewall or by resorting to specific expansions for the browser.
We point out that consent will only be required when you first access the Site: thereafter, thanks to the use of a technical cookie we will store your consent to allow you to directly access the pages of the Site (the User's right to deactivate/activate cookies at any time or to delete them remains unaffected, see point 6.2: in this case, when you return, the Site will ask for your consent again).
In addition, if you provide specific consent to the analysis of your preferences during registration, data related to your navigation within the Site may be associated with your personal data.
2.About the cookies issued by the Site
Regarding the cookies used in the Site we provide the following information:
1) The domain name from which the Site server transmits cookies is: www.danjohnjo.com .
2) Purpose of collection: cookies are used for the purposes of (i) enabling easier and faster navigation within the Site or performing statistical and anonymous analysis/verifications on the use of the same (technical cookies); (ii) improving the browsing experience by analyzing Users' preferences (eg pages visited, products selected, etc.) and suggesting the best products and promotions based on the browsing performed (profiling cookies).
3)Collected data: the following information is stored: the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the User's operating system and computer environment.
Under a technical profile in the cookies (transmitted by the domain www.danjohnjo.com ) contain the following information: a numeric ID that uniquely identifies Rinah and a numeric ID that identifies the User (navigating within the Site), both of which are stored within our database; a numeric ID that uniquely identifies the navigation (so-called "record") of the User within our database; a pseudo-random session alphanumeric ID that is automatically deleted by the browser when it is closed (session cookie).
4) Validity of cookies: the Site uses session cookies (ie cookies that are automatically deleted when the browser is closed), as well as persistent cookies (ie cookies that are kept until they are deleted by the User), the duration of which does not exceed six months in any case.
5) Necessity of acceptance of cookies: the acceptance of cookies is not mandatory; however, we point out that the deactivation of technical cookies, although it allows navigation within the Site, may not make possible the release of certain content and functionality of the Site.
6) Data communication: the information collected through cookies is confidential and is not disclosed to third parties.
3. Third-party cookies
The Site uses so-called third-party cookies (eg Google Analytics, Social Network cookies, geolocation cookies), i.e. cookies that are issued and managed by parties other than the Companies. The Companies do not have the possibility to exercise any control over third-party cookies and do not have access to the data collected through such cookies: the related information and consent obligations are therefore incumbent on the third parties, which typically act as autonomous controllers of the data collected through the cookies they install. The User should therefore refer to the personal data processing policies, disclosures and consent forms provided by such third parties.
